I’m a mom, a Professional Certified Life Coach, and a divinely inspired, rebel Goddess warrior of LOVE!

“A long and winding road” … this aptly describes my journey to my current life coaching practice.  After receiving my Master of Arts degree in Economics from Queen’s University, I began my career as an economic Policy Officer in the Federal Department of Finance.  While there I met my (now) husband and moved back to Calgary, the place where I grew up and where I still had many friends and family members.  In Calgary, I worked for an economic think tank (Canadian Energy Research Institute) as a researcher and then at Mount Royal University (then College); first in the President’s office and then as an Economics Professor.

When our first child was born, my husband and I decided that the best thing for the family would be for me to take some time off to be a full-time stay-at-home mom.  My second son was born three years later.  My time as a stay-at-home mom was one of the most physically and emotionally exhausting– and also the most happy and fulfilling – times of my life.  I knew that being at home was the best choice for me and for our family, and yet I still felt that I was called to make another contribution to the world at large.  I promised myself that I would devote 100% of my time and energy to our growing family until our youngest was in school.  That time came and I began to consider my options.

My daily routine was infiltrated by an awareness that a new desire was rising within me, but I didn’t know exactly what it was about. One day, a friend came to visit.  She was a lawyer who was a taking a sabbatical to become a coach – “a what?” I wondered.  As she proceeded to tell me about coaching and her coach training I began to feel every cell in my body vibrate with excitement.  I knew from the deepest part of me that this is what I was meant to do.  Without doing any research or investigation I submitted my application for coach training and was accepted a few weeks later.   The rest, as they say, is history.  In 2010, I became a Certified Professional Coach earned my first credential with the International Coaching Federation (ACC – Associate Certified Coach) and immediately started my Life Coaching Practice, Awakening Possibility Inc.

In November of 2019, after nine years of coaching clients and completing additional training, I earned my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation. I am excited to offer one-on-one coaching and group coaching to those who are ready to listen to the call of their soul, that place of wisdom deep within, and blossom into the fullness of their potential, and consciously create the life they want to live.
